About This Workshop:
Trance isn’t always about quiet relaxation.
It can also awaken energy, inspiration, and ecstatic expression. For thousands of years, ecstatic trance has been at the heart of human spiritual and communal experience, from Sufi dancing and shamanic drumming, to creative flow states and festival dance floors.
In this 3-day experiential training, you’ll explore the art and science of ecstatic trance: how to enter it yourself, guide others into it, and utilize it for profound personal and client transformation. You’ll discover how to safely induce, amplify, and integrate energizing trance states that open people to aliveness, creativity, and connection with universal life force.
You’ll learn:
- Multiple methods for inducing and amplifying ecstatic trance in yourself and others
- How to recognize ecstatic trance indicators and utilize them for hypnotic change work
- How to “tune” between ecstatic and relaxing trance for deep balance and integration
- How to transform limiting beliefs, emotions, and habits using ecstatic energy
This is an experiential workshop.
Each day will alternate between direct experiences of ecstatic and grounding trances, with time for reflection, integration, and practical application to hypnosis and coaching practice. Come prepared to move your body and make some noise!
By the end of the three days, you’ll leave not only rejuvenated and expanded, but equipped to bring ecstatic transformation safely and powerfully into your client work — awakening joy, flow, and purpose in yourself and those you serve.

To convey the necessary conscious mind understanding while keeping things interesting), guided group experiences, demos of 1-on-1 coaching, breakout groups for skills training (with detailed handouts of steps), Q&A on what we just did, then repeat for each skill.
Meet Duff McDuffee
Duff (he/they) loves helping creative, neurodivergent people with Big Ideas learn how to enjoy the process of consistently taking action.
They believe the freaks, geeks, and weirdos will change the world. Duff has worked with coaching clients since 2003, taught NLP and Hypnosis internationally, and presented at conferences like Hypnothoughts Live, ICBCH, HPTI, and ACHE.

Conference Refund Policy
Due to the amount of logistics, care, and non-refundable deposits that go into planning the largest hypnosis conference, we have the following policies in place.
Participant Refund Policy
Conference registration and/or workshop registration may be canceled with full refund (less a 10% processing fee) provided written notification is received prior to February 1, 2026.
Cancellation after February 1st & before May 14th, refund permitted minus 25% processing fee.
Cancellation after May 14th & before July 1st, refund permitted minus 50% processing fee
Due to financial obligations incurred by Hypnothoughts Live, no refunds will be granted after July 1, 2026.
In the case of an emergency, special requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by the leadership team following the conference.
No-shows cannot be issued a refund, as contractual agreements have been met and paid to the venue based on attendance.

Force Majeure: Hypnothoughts Live will not be held responsible for any costs or damages incurred due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events.

NOTE: Please allow one complete billing cycle before refunds appear on your credit card statement.
Exhibitor Refund Policy
Exhibitor registration may be canceled with full refund (less a $30 processing fee) provided written notification is received any time up until eight (8) weeks prior to the conference start date.
A 50% refund is available for exhibitor registration provided written notification is received between eight (8) weeks and four (4) weeks prior to the conference start date.
No refunds will be granted within four (4) weeks of the conference start date. In the case of an emergency, special requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis by the leadership team following the conference.
