Well, at my pre-conference, I am going to share in detail both of these techniques. We will blend science, human behavior, and clinical experience into tools you can use with absolute confidence.
The Homunculus Protocol is very helpful in managing acute pain, while the 5i Approach is best for those with chronic pain. We will explore both of these deeply and you will gain hands-on experience as we repeatedly work this material on each other.
By understanding the neuroanatomy and psychology of pain, you will be empowered to handle every situation, no matter how complex.
This course goes far beyond just learning the techniques. You will learn a proven system for immediate and effective pain relief as well as gain powerful insights into the mind-body connection that underpins human health.
I’m Dr. Bill Anapoell, a hospital-based physician specializing in acute care medicine with extensive experience in pain management. For about three decades now, I’ve worked with patients in all areas off the hospital…from those in the Emergency Room, to those on the cancer wards, to those just out of surgery, and I’ve seen firsthand the power of integrating hypnotic principles into clinical practice. Hypnosis has helped my patients consistently reduce pain, minimize anxiety, and even cut down on their use of narcotic medications.
Whether you’re a physician, a therapist, or any human being just looking for innovative ways to help yourself or others in pain, this course will equip you with the tools you need to create lasting results for your patients, clients, family members, and even for yourself.
Imagine being able to reduce pain and anxiety on the spot—effectively, naturally, and often without the need for additional medications. That’s what the Homunculus Protocol and the 5i approach are all about.
Let me show you how these methods have transformed the way I care for my patients and how they can do the same for you.
My name is Bill Anapoell. I am an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCSD School of Medicine and the Medical Director for over 150 primary care doctors and 450 specialists who together care for over 20,000 patients in the San Diego area.
I am also a Hospitalist, a medical doctor whose emphasis is on acute care medicine in the hospital setting. When it comes to pain, my patients' situations run the gamut from postoperative pain to chronic discomfort they’ve had for years.
I have used hypnosis successfully in caring for patients in the emergency room as well as for those going into or recovering from surgery. Please join me as I share what I do to help my patients reduce their pain and minimize their use of narcotics.
With over 30 years of experience as a physician, I have come to appreciate the role the mind plays both in creating and maintaining disease as well as in eliminating it. Our own human experience has taught us time and again that we can work ourselves up over a situation to the point that we are upset, anxious, and unable to see a way out.
Fortunately, science has shown us that we can also think ourselves healthy.
